Comber Flautist wins Bursary

Andrew Douglas a past winner of the Comber Rotary Young Musician of the Year Competition wins top spot in the Flax Trust Music Awards.

Well done to Andrew Douglas, Fiachra de Hora and Tom Myles (also a previous winner of the Comber Rotary Young Musician of the Year Competition) for making it to the final - the awards were respectively £3,000, 2,000 & 1,000.

The final took place in the Whitla Hall, Queen’s University, Belfast and finalists were accompanied by the Ulster Orchestra as part of the Flax Trust Arts Music Awards Grand Final which is facilitated by Flax Trust Arts.
